Here on Earth
Here on Earth (2000)

IMDB rating: 4.50

Plot: The lives of three young people – a rich student, a girl from the “wrong side of the tracks” and her boyfriend – unexpectedly intersect during one fateful summer in the romantic drama “Here on Earth.” Kelley Morse (Chris Klein), who is cocky and brash, normally would never have crossed paths with the residents of a small town near his posh private school. But when he takes his shiny new Mercedes out for a drive, he locks horns with some of the locals, including Jasper (Josh Hartnett). As Jasper’s willful girlfriend Samantha (Leelee Sobieski) looks on, Kelley and Jasper engage in a dangerous car race that turns disastrous, leaving a popular diner owned by Samantha’s mother in ruins. Kelley and Jasper are sentenced to a creatively ironic but fitting punishment: They must help rebuild the diner. Not only does this ruin Kelley’s summer plans, he also must board at the home of his rival, Jasper. Kelley begins to fulfill his “sentence,” but refuses to have anything to do with Jasper and his parents. When Kelley again encounters Samantha, the attraction is immediate and strong. First love blossoms in the Berkshire woods (“a little bit of heaven, here on earth,” Samantha calls the pastoral setting), angering Jasper, who has known Samantha practically his entire life. These new feelings and the romantic triangle that develops are only the beginning of a new journey for Kelley, Samantha and Jasper, as they ultimately make life-changing discoveries about themselves and each other.

Is it possible to create a stable human population from only two humans?
Say they are the last two on Earth. Could the gene pool eventually become diverse? What do you think?

Two people will only carry the genes of four people so the gene pool could never be very diverse.
The first generation of females would have to mate with the original male or else the second generation would be inbred. Males of the first generation could not mate with any of the females.

Anyone have a recipe with cream of chicken soup or something? Thanks!!

Do NOT use creram of chicken soup. That is NOT gravy.

There is no good substitute for giblet gravy, but if you must go with out he giblets, then just use the drippings from the bird.

Hey I just signed up to get one it said it should be sent within 10/11 business days so.. the thing is I am wondering if Netspend is truth worthy? and are they allowed to take out money? plus how much do I have to pay monthly? one more thing my dad wanted one too so I had referred it to him it said i’ll get $5 for referring him when I add at lease 10 bucks in it but when he signed up he said it asked for his social security code…he gave it to them but now I am shook up about this so they CAN NOT take any money that we put in it right? please answer anyone I don’t care who but I’d appreciate it if someone who had experience with this or knew someone who had could give me some great advice I just want to know now so if it’s a scam I can cancel my member ship already

This is a case of doing research a little late.
The info below states this is a DEBIT card NOT a credit card. That means the money is deducted from your account with each action. Even with no action the charge is $9.95/month. If you allow the account to go dormant they still charge $5.95/month.
The company is privately held so you loose some of the protections you have dealing with a public corporation.

I would see what my bank was willing to provide as a debit card (or credit card) associated with my account and get away from Netspend, but its your money.
topofga | Oct 19, 2009

…shoulda done research….they just sent me a card…that I didn’t apply to of course…so immediately I went online to see what type of card it was…and who the company was…turns out they scam you for your money…so if I were you I would IMMEDIATELY get rid of the card…also you will probably have to contact the Better Business Bureau (online is best I think) and let them know what happened. If not, it looks like they could do a lot of damage to your credit. Also call 1-866-387-7363 to opt out of their marketing offers…NEVER trust a company and make a false judgement without doing your research….this happened to me awhile back and I learned to not trust scammers like this…so HURRY and try to cancel with them IMMEDIATELY!!! …Also don’t send them any info through fax such as your social or DL number….If all this fails contact the BBB…ASAP….Goodluck!!

Sounds awful.

Do cornbread, celery, onions, ground sage salt and pepper. Then drizle on some melted butter and a couple of drops of milk.
Mountian_Baby | Nov 20, 2009

I think cream of chicken soup makes it pasty. I use two 9×13 pans of cornbread, 4 biscuits that are dried and crumbled, 3 boiled eggs (chopped), celery (chopped), onion (chopped) salt, pepper, sage and chicken broth. I boil chickens and make my own broth. I also cook a turkey and use that broth for gravy. With the chickens that I boiled, I take the meat off the bone and use it to made chicken salad or chicken tacos, etc.

This is work for me for 50+ years and family family absolutely loves it.

Order, TheOrder, The (2001)

IMDB rating: 4.10

Plot: In the year 1099, during the Crusades in the 11th Century, Christian soldiers arrive in Jerusalem and slaughter the local population. Christian soldier Charles Le Vaillant becomes demoralized by the horrors of war and decides to create a new religious order. This new order brings together, in a peaceful manner, members from the three religions of the region: Christians, Jews, and Muslims. As a self-imposed leader and messiah, Charles writes the sacred texts of the Order. The Christian Crusaders accuse Charles of heresy, and attack him and his disciples. During the attack, the last chapter from the sacred texts becomes lost in the desert. Now, in modern-day Israel, a devout contingent of Le Vaillant’s followers continues to practice his peaceful teachings. But a disciple named Cyrus has a distorted view of the Order’s peaceful intention. Rudy Cafmeyer is a thief and smuggler of valuable historical artifacts. Rudy manages to break into a high security building where he steals a Faberge Egg, the kind decorated with precious stones and manufactured expressly for the Russian Tsars. Needless to say, the alarm goes off, and Rudy has to fight his way out of the building. Despite this theft, Rudy is not really a bad guy. He stole the egg from the personal collection of a powerful Russian mafia boss. Rudy is a loving son who would do anything for his father Oscar “Ozzie” Cafmeyer. Ozzie, an archaeologist and museum curator, discovers the manuscripts that were lost during the crusades. The manuscripts clearly extol interfaith harmony. In those manuscripts, there is also an ancient map of Jerusalem, which shows the location of a mythical Jewish treasure. Ozzie travels to Israel, where Cyrus has him kidnapped. Rudy, who heard the kidnapping take place while talking to Ozzie on the phone, travels to Jerusalem to rescue Oscar. Oscar’s associate, Professor Walt Finley, hands Rudy the key to a safe-deposit box in East Jerusalem before being gunned down by unknown assailants. Israeli Police Chief Ben Ner views Rudy’s arrival with hostility and takes steps to have Rudy deported, but police lieutenant Dalia Barr risks her life and career to help Rudy — she was once a disciple of the Order, but she left when she was 18-years-old. Cyrus uses a car bomb to assassinate the Order’s leader, Pierre Gaudet, and Cyrus steps up his own rhetoric, hoping to inflame his followers. Rudy opens the safe-deposit box and finds a map that shows a series of tunnels and a treasure room beneath Jerusalem. Ben Ner, who has partnered with Cyrus, covets the gold that the underground tunnels lead to, but Cyrus hopes to plant a bomb during Ramadan that will turn the Israelis against the Palestinians. Dalia and Rudy must get to the Order’s monastery, free Ozzie, and prevent an explosion that could push tensions in the area way past the boiling point.

I want to report pirating on Amazon, how would I do that?
Alright, so a few months ago I got some used CDs from amazon. I bought a David Bowie CD from a seller on Amazon, at first he stole some of my money because he never sent any of the things that we ordered, and I checked other reviews, and it was the same story, he never sent orders. Then today I get these disks that weren’t made by a manufacturer, just a plain burn disk and a "Tribute to Jimmi Hendrix" CD. I’m pretty sure the record company that sells Bowie CDs doesn’t want this stuff, so I was wondering if anybody knew how to report a pirated seller that would actually have some legal action taken against him, should I inform Amazon, authorities or the actual record company?

Both.
And inform Bowie himself and Hendrix’s family if you can find addresses for them.

Match 1: 23 Connection vs Wave Of The Future(Beast King and Elite Phenom)

This was a good tag match to start off the night. After 23 Connection lead their team to victory at Summerslam they faced off against 2 Wave members again. This was a fairly quick match. 23 Connection managed to clean house anf after 5 minutes Jordan hit his Gorilla Press for the win. As 23 Connection stood tall Undisputed Jericho came out. With Beast King, Fabian, and Elite in the ring Jericho was not happy with them. He said that they were all failures and he officially gave up on the Wave. With the crowd cheering for Jericho a disappointed Wave left the ring. But just like at Summerslam the lights Raven Effect peeked out from under the ring and this time dragged Elite Phenom down under the ring. And like at Summerslam, he never came out.

Winners: 23 Connection

Match 2 Hardcore Match for the Hardcore Title: Rock N Wrestling Connection vs Ultimate RKO

After RKO won the fatal 4 way for this title match last week he was ready for his big match. But RNW was in a foul mood after his Summerslam loss. RNW was throwing chairs at the head of RKO in the opening minutes. This gave him the on going advantage. Though RKO tried to fight hard back, after 4 minutes RNW hit his Collision Explosion Connection for a quick and fast successful title defense.

Winner Retained Hardcore Champ Rock N Wrestling Connection.

Lionheart Chris Jericho in ring

After Lionheart cost Stewie and RVD the win Thursday on Breakdown, he came out on this night to say why. He was angry because he considered it a discrase for YWWA to have not put him on Breakdown. So he had to make his own impact. At that point Stewie came out and tried to talk some reasonable sence into Lionheart. He said that what he did on Breakdown is not how to make an impact. And with Lionhear constantlty insulting Stewie, Stewie finally said. If I wanted to make an impact I could easily do something like this

very important gymnastics question?

PLEASE ANSWER ALL

Hi im kendraya.age 12. Im really really desperate to start gymnastics. right now im about to take 10 classes. 1 hour a week.

I wanna be JUST LIKE nastia liukin,i want her legs,go to the olympics, meet oprah, meet the president,be the best gymnast alive.

Right now i can only take 10 classes until i sign up for winter class witch is another 10 classes.

What do they teach you in 10 classes?(Begginer)

If i start now, will i make it to the olympcis befor im 20 or when im 20.

And how old did alicia sacramone start? And shawn johnson. And nastia.

Also im going to prince georges sports and learning complex (landover, maryland)

And i needa find more gyms.Pleasee help me..

Also i can do a bridge, right split, cartwheel, handstand bridge,i have grace and fliud movement

Im trying to teach myself a back kickover and stick a front walkover and when you lay on your belly and do a cobra and then bring your feet to your head(pleasee tell me how to do that)

and how do i get a more flexible back and how do i get my middle splits

I certainly admire your enthusiasm. I suggest you start with your ten classes and see if you like it. In ten classes you can expect to be taught form and strength on basics. It will probably take you a couple of years to get to a point where you would be ready to compete (at Level 4), if your coaches feel you have the talent, strength, and flexibility to compete.

Women at Elite levels commit at least 30 hours in the gym each and every week (often much more than that), including the world class gymnasts you mentioned. Most elite level gymnasts start gymnastics before the age of 7.

Practicing strength and flexibility at home (your coaches can give you specific drills) will help you improve your skills for the tricks that should be taught in the gym.

beentheredonethat | Aug 07, 2009

I’m sorry, but to make it to the Olympics you would have to be amazing and have supreme natural ability. In about 8 years, you can get about 8 levels higher. Olumpics is level "11" (elite). Most women are best at around 16, so you would have to do 11 levels in about 4 years. But so what if you don’t go to the Olympics? You can still have fun with the sport! (BTW you should try find a place to improve your bars, beam, and vault, too. If they match up with your floor skills, you should be a level 2 or three, meaning you might make elite by the time you are 20)
Lola L | Aug 07, 2009

Nastia Liukin started very young- I believe she started formally training at either age 3 or 6, but her parents run her local WOGA gym and she was basically raised in a gym. Her father is a former Olympian gymnast and her coach, and her mother was a world-class rhythmic gymnast. She trained over 40 hours a week.
Shawn Johnson began recreational gymnastics at age 3, but didn’t begin formal training until age 6 after changing gyms. Even during her prime as an elite olympian gymnast, she trained only 25 hours a week and managed to attend public school weekday mornings.
Alicia Sacramone didn’t begin competing until age 12, but was older than most gymnasts at the Olympics.

You will have to truly commit yourself to the sport, never give up in the gym and always practise at home until you reach a level where you can spend more time in the gym. Condition like crazy and stretch, stretch, stretch.
